Python from the Browser Redux / How about JRuby?

I previously lamented PDP's descent into Web-2.0 Hacking Hell but I was pleased to see this update on his toolset for running Jython within a browser. Given the slow pace of Jython development and the lag behind CPython this is less cool than it was in 2006.

I wonder what it would take to do the same with JRuby
